#hall of shame

yea ok
use the scripts
pix solos
Ill try to learn all that when I can actually image lol, I dont have any of my imaging setup atm, and most likely thats gonna be the case for the next 6months to a year
accidental art
Indeed
This is actually sick looking
looks fine
Windows 98 ahh desktop background
Kinda reminds me of the iPhone wallpaper
I dont understand what mini red dwarf
It doesn't fix a problem
My very first Jupiter, taken with a Seben 114/1000 and a Trust WB-1400T (352x288 pixel)
sadge
ou thats a real unique one
how do u even get this
Bro put an effort to get this
🤷♂️
the slightest amount of instability in the weird ass angle I had my phone at managed fo do this
How did this even happen
Ngl its still pretty nice
Nah
Speaks for itself
charge yo phone
I have failed
Interesting spikes
Better than mine
I took bad flats
😪
Doesnt help that i am in bortle 9
Next time i will have cooling (probably not because technical difficulties)
lol did mine with seestar
Since when does seestar have diffraction spikes and no chromatic aberration
desaturate stars or invert scnr
Send autosave
don't think I have it anymore
Aw dang it

This is where I'll thrive if I decide to commit to this hobby 😁
this is a zoomed in image of the sharpcap live view of dubhe with a bahtinov mask from my phone like 2 meters away from the screen lmao
I love hall of shame
bro what 💀
that's deep sky stacker at its finest
ill see if i can find some more garbage
dss love being a shitface
LMFAO WHAT THE HELL

dss being bss
2min sub of a dark wall after target dipped behind houses. Show me the yellow in grey.
Thats lime green
Definitely do see that in the photo. Could’ve passed as a banana in person
Oopsie
And now we let Orion cook for 20 mins inside the oven. And we add little bit of olive oil to help it not be stucked in the pan and then we're closing the lid.
Added a little bit of salt to it
And a few onions to give a sweet flavour to it as well
nice core
Thank you
Bro got deep fried like the chicken in kfc
The actual image wasn't any better
Don't think 20 mins is enough 💀🤚
Unless it's at 400 °C
Looking through old pictures can be a nightmare
ran over man
Here are some smart scope fails
you could say smart fails
@chrome nacelle here u go, disc didnt want to send them through dms
The Christmastree…
Would be ranked high in a horrormovie
I couldn't even tell cuz of the middle star 💀
Its an utter disgrace to the photography Community but still
Even as an beginner I was disappointed😂
I have this one aswell
horsehead(less) nebula
thats beautiful
DSS abstract art?
It is very interesting, not the result intended though x)
Sell it as nft
Totally
ive
tree dromeda
not bad, just a bit gritty
bortle? lens used?
4-5
Tamron 70-300 f/4.5
ok yeah that's pretty pathetic for b4
bruh what
looks like ok signal
processing is letting that image down
unmoded cam...
Stop down your lens
Its unmodded
Meaning there is filter in the camera that blocks h alpha and as you know NA is a emission nebula Meaning it emits Hapha
yep knew what unmodded means lol
Mod it.. Me and @unreal spear modded his camera and its the best decision he has made
its risky
Ok, I know guy who can do this
the way I would be satisfied with an image like this😭
lmao its out of focus and noisy
yeah, atleast the colors are kinda nice
can you do normal photography still?
Yeah
does it look any different?
and your message is pretty pathetic too but i'm the only one commenting on that
:(
it will slightly
how bad
u can just put a UV/IR cut filter on the front as a screw on and boom
noticable but not bad
nico carver made a video on this
Want more Ha? You will want to modify your DSLR, but which mod is the one for you? Watch this video, then check out AstroGear when ready to pull the trigger on your next mod: https://www.astrogear.net/?ref=nebulaphotos
This video only compares Canon cameras, but next week I will be covering: Canon vs. Nikon!
Nah theres a bit of red tint to it but other than that it fine
And the red tint can be removed in post
Which mod is best for Nikon?
its white balance
Yeah basically
Well depends on what you trying to image full spectrum would be the best for astro but you can just remove the h alpha blocker
just get a new camara instead of modding it
i wana get a dss cam so yeah
why cant i see this crap bro
look at this aurora pic from america last night
Its cheaper
its better
a deep sky stacker cam?
myb i meant dso

mon
Thought this was a really high magnification of Mercury for a brief moment
as we close in on one year since i first tried ghost of cassiopeia, i want to pass on some wisdom to newbies
yea it’s a cool target
do not try to image it early on in your learning phase. it is deceptively difficult
anyway. dither or die
this totally wasn’t my second image ever - big mistake
is this bb or nb?
in nb is decently bright, bb it’s hell
broadband
back in the days when i was armed with nothing but a svbony uhc filter, unmodded dslr, skyguider pro, and z61
(and i had no idea what dithering was until i was processing this image)
Its a screenshot therefore the quality but still super unhappy
undfocused gradient and i didnt find that damn extension for the guiding cam so I had to photograph without guiding :/
not to mention the coma
blurx and dbe can save this image
I mean I think I can save it somewhat but ive planed to capture 20h-ish of the plejades anyway so I see no point in trying save it for now
its a canon (pun intended) event for all astrophotographers
That is the best focus I could get 💀
how do yall get pictures of the comet
step 1: point camara at comet
step 2: image the comet
congratulations you have imaged the comet
Light pollution here is so bad that the comet has almost no contrast against the background sky
My choices are, shoot it when the sun is still setting, or shoot it when it's about to dip behind the trees.

i did it by taking pictures of it. not sure if theres a different way to do it
M16, at 16mm...
if you're in a dark place, a long exposure (like 25-30s or even more) can bring out a very nice picture.
With light pollution it gets tricky, you have to play around with different exposures and find the sweet spot where the comet is visible, but isn't washed out by the lp
this for example was a 10s exposure
look west just after sunset
My 23 second exposure from a b4
Atleast i can see the comet
Its just eaten up by noise
Yea. Stacking will drastically improve that (hopefully)
Every single photo I took of it looked like that too
this was a 10 second exposure from b4 for me
How do i even stack it 😭
Use deep sky stacker, or import all images as layers and use mean stack in photoshop.
when did you shoot it?
I meant like
The comets barely visible
And there arent any stars visible nearby too
Ah. I see what you mean. You can stack it in photoshop by manually aligning the images and using a median stack.
Nico Carver (Nebula Photos on Youtube) had a similar picture like yours (he had even less stars). He has just posted a video showing the complete comet stacking and post processing workflow
when you accidentally pull the curves adjustment the wrong way
also try to guess the target
(I'm editing my 100+ hours exposure on it rn)

lacerta ifn?
ghost of cassiopea?
No
Good job
Reprocess
y'all order some
TREES
rainbow land
True
sed
Id probably have to go with my first ever astro picture
There is a first for everything.
you missed step 3: get clouded out
Yea well I think I progressed well
Full eclipse from my Iphone .. What was I thinking? LOL (I placed priority on live viewing rather than photography... lol )
Oh wow thats amazing!
b4 + southern hemisphere = goated image
How is this hall of shame?
was replying to someone not submitting'
AH alr. Amazing image tho
thanks sorry for the confusion
No problem
What did U used ?
u can see it in southern?
easily
Yes
Also
This was taken a while ago
When it was a southern only target
i used a window to darken the view just enough that the samsung s7 could get detail
Guess whose mirror moved during the session? And guess who didn't notice it?
my mirror never moves 😼
literally idk how I've gotten so lucky with the collimation
Bro it's good
It could have been sooo much better...
Pleiades shot untracked with not much data, but I still wanted to see the nebula so I over processed the hell out of it.
But untracked this zoomed in 👌🏻
Nice
I can't wait to show the completely yellow images of the moon here
I just need to find them first...
diarrhea moon ftw!1!1!!
Interesting information
I pray for your health
(getting off discord and fixing diarrhea)
dudeeeeee
im so fcked
TRipin ABLLLLS
andddddd shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiii
rt
jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjcodex
Did you mean this for AstroShader?
hes high.
why shame?
Im 99% sure. It’s my worst Saturn
I think it only looks "bad" because the tilt of the rings atm isn't ideal for visual and photography, if they were at a nice 30° ~ 45° angle it would look better, but unfortunately there isn't exactly anything we can do about that lol
Taking these into consideration it’s pretty obvious that, that image sucks
My best saturn is actually horrible. Ig that's what I get for using a phone
blurx that
noooo dont
BlurX has smudged planets like somebody sticking their finger in wet paint
slightly better
lmfao ik
Not me a year ago thinking this was a good photo of Venus
is that even the phase or just motion blur
definitely not the phase
I think it’s motion blur
this photo of stars i took from my window
off topic but i like the weather right now it’s cool
whys thisin the hall of shame 😭
rate the starless lol
Oh dear
i was happy with this image when i took it
dw that was like 5 months ago
I'd say my widefield images are ok now
I would have probably posted tonight's image here if my mount had worked
gradients and walking noise
I rarely go out on clear nights unless the conditions are really good since it's just not worth getting my terrible mount to work
Are you serious or nah?
nah
Nope thats motion blur in a sea of noise reduction
doesnt deserve HOS
30min on b7. I think I need a Bahtinov mask
what did you use for it
Sony a6100 with 18-135mm at 70mm f5.6
I think as the camera cooled, the focus changed. I had no time to let it cool off.
yea that'll do it
Hey
Everybody starts somewhere
And look at you now!
This was technically my first ever
This was better
The one after that
5$ binocs and 7x zoom on my phone
No tripod
No nothing
how did I have enough patients to do this😭
😭 this is my oldest
moon and venus from April 2023
this is my oldest relatively detailed one, from August 2023
I think this was one of, if not my first ever astro photo. Just a shoddy moon image. I still like it though, it marks the beginning of my journey through amateur astrophotography.
Taken with my phone and a 56mm monocular
I also had a monocular off Amazon
I still have it with me but has serious focus issues
Was good while it lasted tho
Whirlpool galaxy

Can’t wait for the upcoming galaxy season whirlpool is gonna be so good
Taken with Nikon p950
Is this a single sub?
No 25 mins of data
I can’t wait to try whirlpool with this gear
My fav galaxy
What
?
that has marginally more data than my untracked single subs lmao
Yes but this isn’t single sub
So can’t be compared lol
Now laugh at him.

laugh laugh laugh
This was My 3rd attempt in ap, this is leo triplets 1min (1x60sec) exposure from b8, with a 300mm apsc camera. and ofc it had to be out of foucs.
I'm geniunely surprised you can see all 3 with just 1 unfocused exposure
so you got a tracker assuming you took a full minute exposure
no tracker actually, i set my camera iso to 25600, which is way too much. But back then i thought more iso is better because i can see more stars with it.
i think due to the high iso it got some light from leo triplets, but due to high iso it got covered in noise because of which my single frames look so noisy like this here. But after stacking 60 frames a bit of noise must have reduced making them slightly visible
🟩
so you meant 60 x 1 sec
ye my bad
that makes much more sense
do you have the data?
in a master file or smtn
I wanna see if I can fight the green
and 25600 is NOT the move
bring that jawn down to like 1600
no, i do have the final stacked image from dss.
that works
already stacked saves time for me
send the tiff and i'll take a crack at it
I may not be the best at processing but I have a handle on the basics for sure
orion?
yeah
The 1st sub vs the 1000th sub:
I assume left is 1000th
Right is the 1000th sub, it shows how much dew buildup on your lens can affect ur subss
you should make a lag farm on mc pocket edition so your phone get really hot and no dew can form on it
you would have to tank the noise though
It's dew forming on the lens of the scope not my phone camera lol
oh then you just need to buy a cheap dew heater
right is what my phoe astro subs look like lol
phoned astro
final image?
u posted in the hall of shame lol
From almost an hour of data although this only stacked around 30 mins
give data pook
Data here ^^^^
Very clean
Especially for a phone photo
Your phone must have a nice sensor
Oh cool
Google Pixel phones are so good for AP compared to other phones
So makes sense
ive gotten some good info from someone in friendly cosmos about my camera specs that are a little more in depth if u wanna read thru it
Okay
I saw someone I friendly cosmos had insane photos with his phone
It’s like he was using an astrocam
yeah thats lucas
hes here too
he has a phone that id honestly say is pretty close to a dslr lol
a xiaomi not sure which one tho
Yes
Yea lmao
Shame or Fame?
I like this palette for Ara's dragons, haven't seen colors like that before
Can you guess what’s wrong with it?
out of focus, urple, framing is wonk
Hmm I’ll have to work on the focus with the Seestar and yeah I may have went overboard on the saturation and then the noise was really bad on the edges so I had to make the framing really wonky. Thank you
Oh dear
It’s the colours in my opinion
its gorgeous ngl
this is gorgeous
Better than my best lol
looks like phone astro lol
the saturn is alright
Damn
Was it low to the horizon
Were you collimated
extreamly
this was with thick heavy smoke in the sky
from some bushfires
and a horrific jet stream
prossesing some from tonight
and they look better
i hope
Still not great
Do it
It’s better then deep sky
???
I have a deep sky rig lmao
And I like deep sky more
Hopefully in the future I’ll get a dob and try it out
For u, yes.
I prefer having many colorful cool galaxies and nebulae to shoot
Yeah but
Deep sky got more objects B)
wrong
Wdym?
I mean it's not like you'll be imaging a 10 year old asteroid that's mag 20
i can
if i wanted to
not much point tho
theres also the 10,000,000 starlink satalites
I mean as impressive as that is, I find even the smallest nebulae more beautiful than a small dot super far away
True lol, but that isn't really planetary
let me put it like this
yes there might be more better looking stuff
however basically everything in planetary is dynamic
a nebula isnt going to change from one night to the other
i find it interesting to watch the solar system and its objects in motion like the clouds moving around on Jupiter or its moons swirling around it
or the sunspots on the sun and the phases of the moon
beautiful comets and clouds formations on mars
Fair, adds to the challenge in a way too
yeah
id say planetary is way harder then deep sky
im pretty crap at deep sky tho
so that dosnt prove much
For sure! And the gear is also demanding
thats 1.2 m
Na planetary is so easy. Dso is harder as it's more technical
show me your best planetary photo
If you have enough money, both can be easy 😵💫
lil out of focus
It's focused
Show yours then ;p (out of curiosity)
It's seeing
Holy shit.
.
Cool stuff!
The thing good about planetary is it’s quite easy compared to DSO it seems
its not
dso you just click run then go to bed
you have to baby sit planatary 24/7
No way u said this

It is NOT like that dude
it is
it’s not
Clearly u have not experienced it
Unless ur using an observatory it is not like that

With the perfect gear yes
But not everyone has top of the line type of stuff
No.
Rigs can be automated yes but it’s definetly not how u say it “turn on and go to sleep”
Ok?
That’s a smart scope dude
💀
How is that even comparable
Anyways let’s make a thread for this
Oh we can’t bruh
Fr
jupiter was swollen by a big fungus
How am I stupid here?
It’s literally harder and u can ask whoever u want u willl get the same answer
Light pollution alone makes imaging deep space targets harder. And that’s ignoring the skill needed in processing, amount of data required, etc.
Dependence on seeing is the only significant thing that makes it harder imo
Literally
I wonder why...
maybe because planets need a bigger aperture, which isn't cheap to automate!
I have a 114/900 and i enjoy doing planetary with it
For me dso is hard cause i dont have a good cam for it
As long as thwre are no mosquitoes
yea putting a 114/900 on a fully automated mount and making it a smart scope would be much more expensive than a 50/250 frac
Yeah thats true
luckily jupiter is here in the winter
Nice
I might also try jupe tonight
getting a good image is just luck
*skill
not necessarily, planets are very bright
for detail

dawg
oh I should be in this channel then i noticed
gotta hate gradients
This is the best seeing that I get
I hate living in Victoria lmao
Worst Australian state weather wise
sir you are pointed the wrong way
I was observing the beautiful grass
He was imaging carina nebula from the northern hemisphere. He has earthxterminator to remove earth from the subs
should've also got some sunxterminator
Cloudxterminator when????
guys I have worked a long time on a program, and I am proud to finally present to you: Cloudxterminator.
I haven't been able to put it on the pix website so if you'll just send me a 100$ I will make sure cloudX will be your within a day
sounds like a scam
trust me it's not
LightpollutionXterminator
what am i looking at
I tried to get the eagle nebula in the first one and the second one was a aura borealis on my iPhone 8 😅
On the first I could at least see smth
I genuinely had absolutely zero idea what the hell that 2nd image was tho
Tho it does look like an aurora somewhat
Think I need darks
you need a better background extraction
Kind of forgot about that not gonna lie.
Whoops
I fixed it up a bit
not as bad as mine
(It started raining like 30 minutes after i took this photo)
not as bad as mine

not as bad as mine 💀
💀
mine worse
what’s the joke?
I put my best Jupiter and said it’s worse then yours
oh that’s ur best juipiter? damn bro
that’s a joke do not come for my head
I am indeed coming for your head
It’s not that bad 😭
nah you had a moon visible
Mines ok single sub
Still mid
10x digital zoom mb that's why
same boat as ya
shitty mw
A very bad image of Saturn
Mun
yours looks better if only by a hair
Haha
What did u take that pic with?
I took it with my iPhone 12, pressed against the default 10mm eyepiece of my Orion StarBlast dob.
I see that explains the low mag
So close! That is the Crab Nebula❤️
that's workable
you could do something decent with that
it would only be the main neb but you could do something decent
Watch out🤑 🤑
I dont see anything wrong with that
Looks absolutely fine
Like look at this
The stars are the only good thing
Even tho they are bloated
Due to incorrect backfocus on my coma corrector
dots and blobs

Refracting nebula
spooky
horsehead nebula
Lmao
That made me chuckle
thats a sunset wdym
no way Gaia DR2 65222518661019520 sunset 😱
This is bad
Cloudy situation
Photograph at bortle 9
And it near horzion with 90 percent illuminated moon
And polution also
large
Yes lmc
Ah
Smc has a star cluster nearby
Manuer nebula
very quick photo i got of Orion while i was listening to Orion by Metallica live
My worst photo so far It’s taken from an iPhone so that explains a lot.
damn it barely got the iss lmao
Yeah lol
a work of art
This is just musty
deep snr?
I’ll fix the stars when I get more data
grax denoise will perform much better with less amounts of data
if they have around 2-5 hours they perform similarity
5+ deepsnr wins
fixed the colors i think
brightness
wasn't sure if I should post this 3min sub here or in #1087219932900638720 because only a cursed setup can get perfectly wavy guiding like this
You've created a sea of fractals, unironically looks cool
You started a bacterial colony
reminds me of this
looks like a darn 1980s film image with the wobble
Jupiter last week
💀
EQM-35 life
APOD worthy icl
Oh what on earth happened
Tbh looks like venus
*new horizons
voyager actually couldve gone to pluto but they decided for a titan flyby instead
Ah ok, always thought it was voyager
Horse head?
yes
Give this man mega nerd
twin
I’ve got to lower my exposure by so much.
Yeah I got this with much lower exposure, but it was kinda cloudy at the time
It’s super dim and blurry but you can kinda make out the bands
Very nice!
First ever astrophoto I ever took
what even is this a photo of
probably the moon close to horizon
i think i see some very blurry crater structures
it almost looks like mars with the way it's colored
yeah but it's definitely not
which is why i said close to horizon, idk any other explanation for the color
I swear when the moon is near horizon or is setting it always look super orange
Same with sunsets
Thats atmospheric extinction for you
Very very blurry moon photo
Deep fried pleadies with my phone
beautiful 😭
uhh
this image speaks for itself
It’s not bad for a phone
I also capture with my IPhone 13 1x camera in B6
Neptune 🙂
Part of my projects, one last planet and that is mercury, hoping I can get it this morning
Whats wrong with it
Hardly noticeable
Ive seen worse
dosnt mean its not bad? XD
now days that what my individual subs look like
not the greatest but not hall of shame material
although i guess it depends on your skill level
like id call this hall of shame
Yeah
These good enough for you sir?
Yes sir
There some of my first images
yessiree
to me it has to have some other issue besides lack of int
but also who really cares
A few weeks ago I reprocessed the rosette image. And I’m happy with what I pulled from it
Considering what the original one looked like
Past me. Had no clue what dithering was
That hurts my eyes
why is it like silvery
idk how to describe it
im trying to figure out what even went wrong here, did the galaxy move a bunch mid imaging or something?
It’s processing by the looks of it
Data looks fine
I think
i think im about to create hall of shame material
one is always welcome
wasnt :D
noise isnt bad trust
Seems fine
fr fr
its beautiful
trust
has
character...
🤢 🤮
beutiful 😭
no
this is, i took this like 2 months ago
with a phone?
ye, paired with my 6" dobsonian
i have a 6 incher
this too deserves hall of shame💀
radio static
mines a newt not a dob
is it a quattro?
no
a pds?
i got a stupid keyboard that enters the keys i press twiice sometimes
xD
cleaning your astro equipment is important
?
oh ok mods dont like that
i realised
thats how you are suposed to clean your rig tho so whats wrong with it
i like to microwave to kill off the germs

looks really pretty 😭
i put mine in the washer and dryer, the spinning does wonders, ensures every nook and cranny is clean
Oh god
it will in fact work
it will create very pretty images
if you dont mind the distorsions and lack of stars in a couple places
extra details
lol
better than mine ^^
Its a better picture of a black hole than the Sagittarius A*
I polar aligned on the wrong star and wasted 2 hours trying to figure out why I wasn't getting good tracking
I assume you live in southern hem.?
No... 😭
☠️
Okay in my fairness I couldn't see much stars (like I could barely see the small dipper constellation), and I focused on a star about 5 degrees off the northern star :(
It happened to me vice versa once. There were too many stars (bortle 2) and I was a beginner and didn't know which star was polaris

Glad I'm not the only one then 😩
thats why you polar align before astrodark ends
turn your b2 into a b7
I got there at 1am lol
lol
note to self, dont do deepsnr on only star imagess
stinky
a little portal opening up there
Why would you even try?
i got curious
Understandable.
Note to self if the uv ir cut filter is off center it will cause chromatic aberration 💀
Also note to self check focus every 30m or so
Because i just realized i was slightly out of focus
From a distance honestly it doesn't look to bad, but yeah the CA is definitely noticeable upclose
By the way its a parabolic newtonian 💀
looks like really good data too, kinda stinks that happened, but good news is that you'll more than likely be able to replicate it
Tbh could be better because not only im out of collimation but im also not guided and on top of everything my polar alignment is extremely rough no software no visual just a rough guess
thats unguided? damn
how did you get such a good image then
that does not belong in hall of shame
i mean yea it's got some issues but overall it's still a good image
On a eqm35 of all things
The starless version definitely is
This is the starless
nah both are good
Thanks
womp womp
i messed up in so many places that i dont think this particular iteration deserves a spot to be posted anywhere
are you asking for attention or something? this data is def usable
No
Yes it's usable but this process is bad
opens "hall of shame" channel
looks inside
absolute cinema
It's not up to standards at all
it looks like an oil painting 😭
Thers a bunch of color splotches everywhere
incorrectly normalised background?
It wouldn't correct
The gradient extraction was the problem
oof
Ah well, perhaps my standards are just low, potentially a byproduct of me being far worse at the whole astrophotography thing than 99% of the users here
I think it looks nice
I do notice the color splotches the longer I look at it, but it also looks like something that could be easily dealt with and edited out.
I tried, couldn't do it
Maybe if I was more talented on the processing side of things I could salvage it, but I've got to start over.
💀
Just a bit smooth cause its unguided
And rough polar alignment
Like try polar aligning with a blind fold
Thats basically what i did
how much hours was put into this?
17 narrowband almost 10 broadband
From bortle 7
yeah
Bad flats, bad weather, only 3hrs of data and without a coma corrector😭
Was out of focus but @uneven talon fixed it with blurx (Thank you)
U sure?
First light through my 8" RC. Yeah, literally just a moon picture with my phone through an eyepiece.
I am curious if anyone has a less impressive first light image
to be fair, for just a quick single exposure image through the eyepiece with your phone, that's not a bad moon image
haha hold on gimme a quick minute
sure lemme find one i have a ton
The moon was also like 5 degrees above the horizon so it's full of atmospheric distortion
Better one from that night, but I only took 3 photos total
Wait that's the same image just cropped lol
on the topic of the moon, this was one of my very first moon images, taken with my phone through a 56mm hunting/bird-watching monocular. I guess that counts as first light?
At the time I thought it looked pretty alright! I still do to some extent, considering how I took the image. But it's by far not even close to the quality I aim for anymore.
Granted said quality comes nowhere near what most other people here strive for, but I do what I can with what I have I guess.
I can't wait for Saturn's rings to angle themselves nicely again
that was a few months ago
to be fair it will be cool to see what they look like almost perfectly flat, but it's not the same
This was entirely intentional, btw: I thought it would be funny to have the first light image for this fine instrument to be a sloppy moon picture
I haven't done any imaging since lol
damn
first light on the sv106 (today)
oh my goodness 😭
(I have taken it out for visual use – I still need some equipment to arrive before I can image)
i did try shooting orion but i think a jupiter screenshot was the best image i took bc of the diffraction pattern the window i was shooting through made
it's literally the 🌔 emoji
Ok this is lowkey fire though not gonna lie
how
wow I've never seen the elusive SharpCap Pro Trial nebula
The diffraction spikes are beautiful. I'd genuinely consider shooting though a mesh like that
you should
the jupiter came out nice
