neat image I guess, nothing against you or anyone that uses smart telescopes, but I just don't really like them. Sure they're convenient and easy to use, but it takes away the whole learning and human interaction out of astronomy and astrophotography.
||Honestly I'd say the best productive use for smart telescopes is at a dark sky event with lots of people, may they be new to space or veterans, and you may not necessarily be able to set up your professional scope in a short amount of time and take images. Instead, you can let the smart telescope do it in minimal time, allowing you to share the images with lots of people and educate them about space, sort of like being at an on-site planetarium, except you get to actually see things for real||
People have different opinions, and its upto them what they need,l i guess, this scope matches my needs as i dont have alot of time and money, skies are mostly cloudy here,if i do buy proper rig with $1000+ ,it ll be collecting dust
I like to go out in dark skies sometimes and i mostly like visual,so its nice if does its own thing while i am lying down watching stars,i do own 8” dob too and binos
And i think its great for beginners too, easy to use,not expensive and satisfactory results, many people are getting into this hobby coz of this scope so i am happy with that
That’s firee
You should try one and test your assumptions
Eh, I don't really need to try one out myself, there's tons of videos online that describe the process of using one, and the kinds of images that they can take. Despite their ability to take ok images in relatively little time, it's not for me.
Also most of them cost well over $300 ~ $400 from what I've seen which is a little out of my price range.
Ok there not for you, that said though your just wrong on your previous comments
A Seestar with a wedge and some patience to get some integration time could make a fine image. The sensor is ok and the scope it self is a 50mm triplet.
Keep in mind, the tools we use to process our images cost about as much as this scope!
