I think that this combined with an appropriate astro camera is about as close as you're going to get to an all-rounder that can do planetary AND deep sky. However, it's not going to be the best at planetary and it's not going to be great at deep sky.
Normally the advice for planetary is to get a dobsonian. A 8" or 10" ideally - this gives you the best optical resolution for planets. Goto and tracking doesn't matter, you just take a high-speed video as the planet wanders across your field of view and in good conditions and with some processing that's enough to produce a good image. The Virtuoso 150 is a 6" so it's not going to offer the same resolution that an 8" or 10" will. It is, however, much smaller. Search for planetary images taken on a 6" scope to see if they meet your expectations.
For deep sky, the opposite is true. You ideally want long exposures, tracking on a GEM mount, to counteract the rotation of the earth. The Virtuoso is a goto alt-az mount. This means that even though it will track an object as it crosses the sky the field of view will rotate and star trails will appear at the edges. To avoid that you need to have to take shorter exposures, each probably 10s or less, and lots of them. Modern CMOS astro cameras are quite good at taking short exposures though, and I've seen some good results. I would say that a Player One Neptune 664 (imx664 sensor) or Uranus C (imx585) would be an excellent pairing for this scope, both for planetary or deep sky.
The big problem with field rotation on this scope will be the diffraction spikes. When you stack lots of exposures, the spikes on the stars will blur, even if the stars themselves won't. It's your call about whether this is acceptable.
So in summary, it's probably the best all-rounder for the money, with some strong drawbacks. If you want a rig that does both but better, you're looking at a HEQ5 or EQ6R-class mount with a 6" or 8" solid-tube Newtonian scope, probably 2x or even 3x the cost.

really can't do 2x or 3x cost, most I can do is probably $650 or 700
