Is this OTA any good? Thinking of using it with an EQ3-pro + ASI224MC (possibly a Uranus-C in the near future). Thought it’d make a (relatively) portable setup.

technically it's a guide scope so there are no examples to check the quality, for sure it's better than others since it's ED

Hmmm haven’t seen any images from the evoguide either, but I’ll definitely look into it (it seems kinda cheaper as well 🤑)

the evoguide is pretty decent, better glass than some other doublets but it doesn't correct that well on the edges

with a camera like a 585 it wouldn't really be noticeable

I’ll probably get a field corrector eventually for whatever I buy anyway, so I don’t consider it to be that big of a problem

the evoguide has an included corrector I think, but it's not good enough for larger sensors
