Was reprocessing some old data for fun that I gathered back in November that didn't turn out well at the time. Wasn't planning on ending with a image worth keeping so I never bothered to removed the stars and edit separately so they are pretty over processed but I think this turned out alright. This is 9 hours of the Helix Nebula with a stock dslr from bortle 9.

Scope: Skywatcher 150PDS (stock)
Camera: Nikon D5300 (stock)
Mount: Celestron AVX (stock)
Coma Corrector: Sharpstar Coma Corrector 0.95x
Filter: 2" Optolong L'Enhance filter
Guide Cam: ZWO 120mm mini
Guide Scope: SvBony 50mm

Edited with PixInsight along with blurxt, noisext, and Lightroom. Thanks for looking!

GDay mate good photo. I dont confess to being a guru at all but I reckon you can stretch that way way more in GHS and make the chevrons appear. 9.0 H should bring them out.

Here's an extreme stretch

Ah right. Thats a shame as I thought you would get a tad more. Its just that I took a photo last year at 10.0 h and managed to get the chevrons. I live in a bortle 4 which may account for it hence I thought it worth your while to squeeze it a little.
