@sharp zinc Hey, you can probably tell by this that I am very new to editing stacked images, lol. This is my second ever edit, I hope you like it!
Definitely does not have as much stretch and color as yours, I was just trying it out.
Wow! You’ve got some really nice hues in there :)
Thanks for processing
noisy but I'm happy
Im also pretty new at editing especially with pixinsight, if yall got some good tutorials, feedback or recomendation pls let me know
Can you share the drizzle x2 without the autocrop file.. Just the drizzle x2?
Nice data! Thanks for sharing 🙂
cool data, mid process (mainly my stars suck)
made the mistake of doing curves in early star processing
didnt realise that cooked it until later
I can see if I have it. What for?
yeah i did
i mean i stretched the stars as the first step of delinearisation
(before HT)
which is pretty dumb
for the starless layer i applied GHS, arcsinh transform, and RGB/k + saturation curve
that was a delight to work on, amazing data
ey thats fire
i like the starless wtf that goes hard
yeah the starless really stands out nicely
yeah nice data
@sharp zinc i cant help keep editing this data! 😂
saturated to hell but looks beautiful lol (to me anyway lol)
kinda destroyed the background Ha to remove color mottle but oh well... also I resampled it back to the original res cause my PC is slow
ahhahah i like it
thanks 🙂 honestly im learning loads on pixlnsight with your data, just wish i could learn all the rest like the real advanced stuff and really go wild on this haha
imo its all the little things that make a good difference, like dark structure enchance, star reduction.
i recommend using curves transformation for almost everything after you do an STF autostretch
its the only tool i really use to edit the colours
ive barely got past curves, histogram, all the X's lol
you might like my running chicken data
do spectro color and that, but the real advanced stuff like messing around with the alpha channels and re-combining and that im barely scratching the surface
erm..... already downloaded it lmao
ehhh, i dont even use that stuff. i prolly could try doing continuum subtraction but i cant be assed. you can get good results by learning to master the curves transformation tool
have at it ahhahah
i would but your data is that good its crashing my pixlnsight lmao!! im on a i3 laptop with 4gb ram haha
oh my god ahahha
building a 6core rixen5 with 64gb ram and 8gb graphics card desktop but money is low so its a slow progress haha
the 2x drizzle prolly doesnt help at all
oooooo thatll be fun
yeah im literally building this pc JUST for pixlnsight and my astro recording haha
im running a ryzen 7 6800H RTX3060 16gb ddr5 laptop. its not that bad, its got a good display 2560x1600
damm!
yeah way out of my price range thats for sure haha
what graphics are you thinking?
this laptop i only got for using my rig on but then i found pixlnsight and well....
rx580 or something like that
8gb
its pretty much all i can get, it should be enough for what i need (hopefully)
nice nice
#1197029237962580038 message - its this ive been trying to work out most of the evening, its the Ha, Oii and Sii but on pixln they come up as gray, ok fair enough i thought must be a way i can combine, found something but cant remember the name but it says basically cant convert gray, got to be color and then i got stumped lmao
gotta do channel combination
i tried but this came up - then couldnt work it out
You're clicking the square button, click the circle button to the right of it.
You can also do this in pixelmath
