I'm new with everything, but I saw that DSS was going to be easy to use; I found a nice tutorial; downloaded the software... but when I try to follow the tut and select the 8 images I took of the Orion nebula, when I click "Open", nothing happens. Nothing! I'm so desperate, what am I doing wrong? Is there a workaround? I have v 5.1.5. Has anyone seen a DSS that won't load the images? They are normal jpegs from my phone (I know, I know), but I plan to upgrade to RAW once I manage to get DSS rolling. Can somebody please help me? (Is this the right place at all? I'm new with even Discord, sorry)

discord might not read jpg, it's not a normal format to use for deepsky image acquisition
due to limitations around image compression
