It was one shot colour with a dual narrowband filter. No idea how to split down the rgb to pull out the OIII separately. Is it not just the case that the H-Alpha red is the true dominant colour? Pretty new to this so still learning.

I don't for Siril i am using Pixinsight but basically you can split the RGB channels from your raw color image and merge G and B (equal weight or not) to be your Oiii. You can find many tutorial on youtube to do that 😉

All roads point to pixinsight it seems. Worried that’s a whole new system to learn and a whole new expense 😂. Sounds good though - defo keen to inject a bit more colour! There’s a script to create a Hubble palette that must be splitting the channels already on Siril so it must be an option… some more youtube hours coming up!

Reprocessed using a Hubble palette script - think I prefer the original. But this exercise has introduced me to a way of splitting out channels myself that’ll I’ll try out on a cloudy night.
