Quickly re edited some OSC SHO from last year (dual band + sii) data again for a little walkthrough came out quite nice... less strong ha looks nice here at times

Meade 70mm f/5 , asi 533mc pro, antlia alp-t + optolong sii 6.5nm, eq6-r pro
600s subs, 14.5 hrs dual band and 9.5 hours Sii

The fidelity that 533 was able to bring out is insane. Sharp asf.

Looks amazing! How noisy is the Sii signal (asking because it's an osc)

Pretty noisy.. but workable

#

600s subs for 2 nights did the trick

it’s doable if ur willing to spend an extra couple nights

The dual band auto stretched then sii combined rgb, and split on the right

I haven’t edited osc in a year so I defaulted to what I memorized lol

No it’s some formula I’ve seen used before in pixelmath for g+b combination

tranquil sequoia
#

Ah I see

abstract oak
#

I think it’s meant to do the same thing as the rescale result but yeah

What would be a reason to weigh the channels diffently when using dnb filters?

abstract oak
#

Essentially an opacity blend cuz I forgot about that other stuff mentioned above

tranquil sequoia
#

Opacity blend? In Photoshop?

abstract oak
#

No but that’s essentially what 0.8g + 0.2b is doing
