Just bought a Uranus-C Pro and looking to buy a HEQ5 mount soon.
Now I am looking for a good scope to top off my spending spree. I had been looking at a WO Redcat 51 v2.5 but now I want to see what other options are out there. I currently use a Samyang 135mm f/2 lens but want something that can help me get smaller targets or allow me to get closer pictures of current targets. Basically to give me some more options/variety in what I can shoot. I take images of DSOs and really like taking pics primarily of nebula.
I want to point out I am still a beginner and my very upper budget is £800.

Did you consider the askar fra300 pro? I have the same one and i love it
I dunno how expenive it is for you btw
130pds or quattro 150? would need guiding but you can then shoot much smaller stuff
Yea I had a look at some of the Askar stuff, its mostly out of budget 😦 The FRA300 Pro is £1000.
I hadn't even considered a Newtonian tbh, mainly because the idea of collimation added another level of complexity I didnt feel ready for, maybe its not as difficult/annoying as I think it will be though?
I have been looking at a WO Zenithstar 73 III APO. Its just a coincidence that its another WO scope lol, I am open to all brands 😉
depends on how much you want to change your fov, with a newt you can cheaply get a much deeper view but the zenithstar also gives you a very different fov from your roki
