It's perfectly good for widefield imaging setups, idk what mount you've had before but the SkyGuider help you get used to guiding and the basics of mount mechanics. Then it'll be much easier going to goto as you'll know at least half of what your doing lol. There's so much more stuff you have to worry about when setting up goto mounts and getting them dialed in.
