This nebula is fairly dim, and is often over looked due to it's bright and famous neighbors. Like the Veil Nebula, it's an SNR. However, unlike the Veil Nebula, this is incredibly dim in comparison. Normal broadband cameras and filters can only pick the brightest, smaller regions of this SNR. It's over 6 degrees in size, making it a challenge to fit it even with the Rokinon 135mm. Another difficulty, not many people shoot this nebula, so it was difficult guesstimating its size in NINAs framing, but it worked out ok.

Very nice! Feels like you still want a bit more exposure time, it looks like you brought out quite some noise due to its faintness

#

Also, the Antlia filters don't really like going to f/2, especially at 3nm. So you may have really reduced your signal that way as well

#

At f/2 you get bandpass shift that may get out of the range of your filters

With the Antlia filters you can go to f3, so if you have stepdown rings, you can match that better probably

Yeah I found that stepdown rings are more accurate with the aperture than the aperture blades, plus that way you don't get bad spikes lol

I was thinking about trying this target too the other night but decided not to in the end as i wasnt quite sure how faint it was

#

Might still try it at some point, but i think ill wait for atleast a few clear nights

#

Definetley would be a bit of a challenge even if i got use of the 533mc and esprit, + ill have to decide what section of it id image

#

Although i haveny really seen anything on this target over 250mm in fl
