Hell ye

For a min I thought DJ Khaled was secretly an astrophotographer
yeah bro, me and khaled go way back
Thats right. We da best music
God did
here you go
@fervent tinsel Got around to it lol thanks for sharing (: got lazy so didnt remove dust spots, got the .TIFs though so if you want me to remove them i can
Tell em to bring out the flats
Truss tube rc. It’s impossible to take flats
Should get a XXXL white tshirt for it, and take day flats
You cant take flats on a truss tube rc. Especially not if using a 294mc. Id rather make synthetic ones in Pix
Pretty sure The3D takes flats with his 12" RC, wouldnt make alot of sense if a scope couldnt take flats lol
It leaks light everywhere. Also 294mc
How the H3ll did you get these OIII and Ha colors?
hwat?
I mean the blue and the red. i do not get it?
I checked again and my color calibration was way of, nice data BTW.
you need flats
Lovely data, SiriL decon and PS sharpen worked nicely.
Dammit, the blacks have a green tint
I kinda like the top one, but the bottom is more balanced imo
Dam you guys brought out the Ha nicely
why? i have a truss tube and take flats without any problem
light leaks coz I dont have a light shroud
but agree that the 294mc is pretty picky on flats
yeah a good shroud you need it for that tube
I noticed that doing a quick synthetic flat in PIX and then boosting only the dark areas with a range maks and curves works just as well as actual flats. and its quicker
what procedure do you use for synthetic flats?
i usually integrate all the lights using a very broad rejection method and then MMT to eliminate large scale structures left, what's still there i remove with clonestamp
dust spots removal with synthetic flat
使用人工平場移除影像中的塵點 、黑圈
0 flats on this one
only defects in the background are bright star residue
aslo @neon oriole how do you like your CEM120. Moving from an EQ8R to that soon.
my cem120 is a beast, make sure to balance it properly (also 3d balance)
use the internal cable management as much as you can
i have no experience with the EQ8R but my 120 guides at 0.3 RMS with the 12" truss plus a 100mm refractor on top
oh wow. certainly beats my mount
do you use any tools to balance?
not really, just make sure that it stands still in every position you put it in
slight drifts are acceptable
ah @fervent tinsel you have a GSO truss right?
cause there is a design defect in these models, you need an extension for the baffle tube otherwise you will always have light leaks
not sure if you are aware just throwing it out there
yes, im planning to print one soon
my 120 tonight, seeing isnt even that great
