had to try
you should sharpen it more
@grizzled spire Some amazing data! just learning how good pix is for planetary too lol thanks for sharing! (:
Tried again lol, do you know any good NR methods for planetary?
I use astrosurface
just a really quick edit not how i feel about how deep it is but nonetheless beautiful data!
the color is off imo but thats my fault lmao
Nice one
Might wanna fix the colors tho and you r a bit oversharpened/too large wavelet size
@balmy escarp
I mean I do like my images sharp lol
Also should I make a yt vid on processing this
Ig, but use smaller wavelet size
And fix colors
Very orange/green
Gonna have to wait for that because bad monitor
hmm why is there a blue ring on the edge
good sharpening tho
idk it was really obvious but i brought down blues
i just did green SCNR, manual colour calibration, wavelets, all in siril
then in Ps i just did some sliders and brought down blues
oh yeah i also did global sat boost in siril
First time trying to process any planet hope its ok
Sorry for all the amount of times im processing this, but i really enjoy processing this data XD used astrosurface wavelets for denoising this time, although it does remove some small details
Very good, with perfect sharpening, perhaps just add some more saturation
Bit softer than my liking but oh well
Ty
looks good
details are there but it doesnt look as crisp, you can tell that its denoised, so i think leaving a bit of noise would be better here
Thanks yeah thats what i thought too, might do one last process
DIdnt come out as smooth as id liked XD but it was still fun to make
if you want i can upload the rest of the animation stacks with ganymede
eh imma do it anyway
Yes please! how do you create your animations? ive just been putting the images into capcut and doing it from there lol
i use pipp to create avi then use photoshop to export mp4
photoshop you can also adjust stuff
Oh ok cool! seems quite simple lol
Oh damn XD
i would recommend batch sharpening it in astrosurface
or wavesharp whatever can do it
Probably batch process it in pix yeah
yeah ok
Thanks for the stacks! will process them soon
You can put them here if youd like
okie
@grizzled spire ive screwed up my frame order while processing, is there any way PIPP can determine the rotation of the frames? or do i need to re sort the order of everything ๐
?
just get pipp to order it
Wheres that setting?
Oh, yeah the issue is, to remember what file was what i renamed them alphabetically and after doing that they now arent correct
So now like "O" is the first frame and so it doesnt rotate properly in the animation
Heres what kinda happens
Its good ill figure out the order lol
bruh
Yeah
@grizzled spire welp that was slightly painful XD was fun to process though
really nice
bro just send a .zip please :(
ok
its a bunch of stuff including the as3 files and sharpened and derotated ones but you can find the unsharpened ones there
ok then
sharpness is perfect, looks really clean
sharpness is perfect, looks really clean
no that one needs more sharpness
oversharpened ones look un natural, less of a gas giant planet
while undersharpened looks blurry
this is a great sharpness
Ty but does it need more saturation
yeah, more saturation
Here's my attempt, thanks for sharing your data @grizzled spire
brlliant
Nice sarcasm
This is perfect sharpness
looks really clean wow
