29 hours of Ha, OIII and SII in subs of both 600s (for the outer shell) and 60s (for the core), combined into one image. The insert shows the upsampled core with way more detail than I would have expected from my modest 115mm f/5.6 refractor. Taken from my city balcony in Munich with an ASI183MM mono camera and Antlia 3nm narrowband filters. I hope yo like it!

Dude that's freakin' awesome
Thanks dude!
HALL OF FAME
@faint pulsar how did u do this, skies are shit in munich , barely clear
30h or integration time 🤓 - that's the only thing that helps
No i know but like how did u find 30hrs of clear skies here
In summer and in germany lol
And I shot the subs over the last year - the nebula being close to the north celestial pole means I can always fit in an hour or two for this object when other ones are getting too low
Ah that makes sense
The squirrel thing 🙂
just amazing
HALL OF FAME THIS
please put hall of fame
not HOF worthy imo but it's great
If a plane passing over Jupiter gets HOF, this can
that's different
Well i didnt put that there and also i decide whats hof worthy and not u. So now let it be. There are many people able to post into hof, im only one of them and im not going to post it in hof
True
considering the fact you made 2 different subs, how did they not overlap each other? 600s for the outer shell would literally overexpose the core, how is this pulled off
I used the Substitute script for Pixinsight to replace the core. See here: https://youtu.be/WWpAQThKOPI
REVIEWS! https://www.adamblockstudios.com/categories/Reviews
Christoph Oehler has created and released a new utility script in PixInsight called Substitute. This is a handy little tool that will allow you to copy pixels from one image to another quickly.- which may be just the trick for many uses such as HDRMT, mask generation, history state p...
