galaxies are broadband targets
you cant really use filters on them unless you are doing narrowband
so, since its a broadband target, you need to get out of the city

yea ive been look at a few hehe
getting very long integration times will help a lot
although nothing really will compensate for dark skies, so get out of the city where possible like the other comments have suggested
I think an l pro will solve all of your issues
L-pros and other filters which are claimed for broadband use aren’t worth it
