Kind of cool lol.
They say it's from a strange light source in one of my subs.
I say
strange is an understatement
Have a Crack at it with it in there lol.
it twirls around and erupts ๐คฏ
Wonky space crafts.
gonna try it, because why not
Have fun sir. It's pretty decent data.
maybe there's a plug-in or process in PixInsight for "Space-Time Vortex Removal"
lol
I'm cracking up
get rc-astro on the job, stat!
Get the CIA on the job, STAT!
it will no doubt be called VorteXterminator
This edit shall be the edit of all edits.
submit it for an APOD saying you imaged an Einstein-Rosen Bridge
I imaged a the eagle 5 going warp speed.
Yes
I did the Hercules cluster just to see how sharp it was with a small target the other night. First nebula.
after getting a new mount, i probably will get one of those. i have an 85mm lens but it has aberrations badly
Yeah I got a good copy. Definitely recommend it. I run the SWSA 2i on the swsa tripod with just my canon and lens. A dew heater band if I need one and my intervelometer.
i'd be doing the same, except a SGP ๐
I am upgrading mounts soon. Probably just the AZ GTI. It's all I need.
might get a mount and piggyback it on my little z61 on my gem28 and do wide field and wider field ๐
yes
oh so that weirdness isn't over the nebula it seems
Yeah I know that's what's cool about it lol.
i can see a lot of dust/ha on that side of the image, but that odd thing is beyond me to deal with
Like good dust or lens dust
space dust
Rats. I'm going to have to find the sub that has that and post that one as well.
this is proving difficult for me ๐
Because of Eagle 5?
doing star removal again...
Lots of stars
yes, stars-o-plenty
Stars galore
i think this is causing me problems. they're blocking everything i want to see
small Sagittarius star cloud (didn't all fit in frame with my small sensor)
OoooooooOooo
I want to try this again at some point with no telephone wires.
this is an autostretch after star removal
the edges of the nebula seemed to be obscured by all the stars and removing them removed data with it
I see that. It looks a little clipped.
Yep nope. Canon t6 rebel
interesting. same fov as my t7 but different pixel sizes
I want to try my girlfriend's t7
strange something here as wel
It was a super supernova
klingon bird of prey decloaking
I'll let it slide this time.
Interpretive Processing
that's starless luminance combined with RGB stars
basically i removed the stars and made a fake L channel (or grayscaled the RGB) and tweaked it before adding RGB stars back. this allows a bit more contrast and the noise is disguised. (to me, at least)
I suck at processing so when you explain it like that it helps a lot. It does look better.
Can it be made more colorful?
I gotta get Pix lol
Seems so much easier
And better
making it black/white removes the color.
it looks like this with color
someone with more experience/skill can very likely get more out of it. ๐
Still looks awesome! I really appreciate it.
I am going to still try to find the frame with what's wrong lol.
This is from the Scutum Star Cloud, higher up in the Milky Way's band. Not sure how I forgot that lol.
Super beautiful and sharp as well. Shows how close yet vast the distance is from eachother.
