I am gradually upgrading my deep sky rig and now as everything is working properly I am thinking of finally getting a dedicated astrocamera. I think I should go straight mono because I live in a pretty light polluted area (bortle 6). I don't really want to spend more than 1000$ on a camera so I'm looking at zwo asi183mm and asi533mm. Asi533 seems to be a little bit better and I saw a lot of good reviews about it on this server and on the internet. Maybe you would suggest other models that I should look for

the 533 is light years ahead of the 183, I wouldn't even consider the latter, also have you accounted for filters and a filter wheel in the budget?
I know that I also need filters and a filter wheel. Probably I will buy LRGB for a start and then some narrowband. Also if I understand correctly I can buy cheaper 1.25" filters for this sensor?
yeah the 533 sensor is quite small, you shouldn't have issues with 1.25" filters
That's nice. It means I can save some money here by buying 1.25" filters as they're selling pretty cheap used
even new zwo has a pretty cheap lrgb set, it's not the best but also not bad
Ok, thank you for helping me
