Problem with my ASIAIR and EQ5-Pro | Astrobiscuit | Page 1

I recently bought the asiair plus, which has been working with my az-gti, but as I connected it to my eq5-pro mount, it no longer slewed the dec axis. The Ra-axis works fine as far as I can tell, but the dec-axis does not move at all. I checked all the cables and they were connected. The handcontroller of my mount still slews the dec axis so the mount cant really be the problem. But I really want to work with the asiair instead of the oldschool handcontroller.

Does anyone might know what the problem could be? Maybe I didnt connect something right…

you guys have eq5‘s maybe you ran into the same problem? If so how did you solve it?

What did you plug it in to? The usb on hand controler or usb on the cobtroler box thingi?

For me only the hand controler works. But i also have problems with dec not wanting to moce after a plate solve

And i use NINA

Probably a stupid suggestion but did you try turning it off and on

Maybe try using controller

It has a usb port on the bottom

Don't forget to set the controller to pc direct mode
