Hello
What telescope do you have
I can’t even understand your name
Cassegrein haha
Oh ok
I have an 8 se but sometimes I feel lazy to take it outside
What motivates you to take it outside
?
Can you give me tips on what motivates you
Any questions about the 8se
Oh oh mb
Ok so
Basically, I love the calm and just you being outside
I'm constantly facisnated by the universe
The thing is I really want to take my scope out but the narrow field of Brie in my backyard makes me wanna just stay inside
And the thing is this time in Dubai is starting to get hot and the planets are just not out
I have a camera and a adapter but I can’t seem to see anything
Wait one sec
I will post some of my results
If you are using AA batteries, listen to the motors
Also, you can tell if the batteries are low if yoy move the telescope, and it keeps moving that direction even after you let go of it
The thing is I use a cable it is way batter because I don’t have to keep changing the batteries
Yeah use cable
I have a better pic but I lost it
Way better
I have to go I will talk tmrw cause I have school is 3 hours and I did not sleep
If you do use AA, you can tell if the batteries are low by listening to the motors. You can tell if they are low by listening to it
Alright bye
Danggg
Bye
@dull cloak last question I have troubles aligning my telescope do you have any tips I can use because I tried everything
Like what
Look for the brightest str
like star align failed
heres the thing:
DO NOT USE 3 STAR ALIGN
USE AUTO 2 STAR
Why?
trust me
basically its a lot of technical stuff
but simplified,
auto 3 star just chooses the 2 best stars
tht you chose
Ok but I tried that as well and it rarely worked
causing it to be less accurate
trust me try it again
but 2 star gives you a list of stars
you might have pressed the wrong stars honestly
Ok I thing it did not work because I was forced to align stars next to each other because of my backyard
try using aa for once
yeah that wont work
plus they have to be on the list
use an app
i usually go for polaris because i can accuratly find it constantly
stellarium better
From my back yard the top of my neighbors house is blocking Polaris I usually go for Vega and another bright star
I will try it tomorrow and update you on my results
Thanks for all the help
Nm did it ok bye
Good scope but bad mount
The Mount is only good for visual but for astrophotography it is not good
Btw how do you rank up
the mount really has drained my soul... I've got it to work somewhat... I replaced it with an AVX for a while but that was also an awful experince. I'm making my own mount instead
Oh ok good luck on your journey
?
Oh ok
pulsar is special for making stuff
