A newt or dob would probably be best. I personally have no experience with Astromasters, but many swear against them. A 4.5" newt/dob would allow you to see the objects you listed and makes it easier to upgrade into astrophotography. This is all imo btw.

Depends on the newt you get. They are pretty portable. I'm able to take my 8" pretty easily. Also, look used.
