I think it's a fantastic mount tbh. Well built.
After owning a few traditiinal worm/spur gear mounts it was very appealing to just take it out and...it works
No dicking around with gear mesh and all that
I'm using it with the tc40 carbon fiber tripod and I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it works. Very sturdy, though to be fair I've only put around 25lbs or so on it

with Askar180fma guidescope and asi 290mm. I was guiding on NGC2264 on Feb 19, 2023 so rather close to the celestial equator. With 15.43lb setup.

I haven't had these epic numbers but I've had a few .30-.40" nights, with most being. 50-.60"...
That's with a 50mm uniguide/asi585. Total payload was around 17lbs
