They where 5m long each and about 1h and 10 mins ive noticed the noise is quite extreme and im trying to figure out why

My best bet would be too high iso and darks not working.

Iso was 1600 where ive shot with 6400 before without nearly that much noise
im pretty sure its just calibration frames was different to eachother
ill reshoot some darks tonight after im done shooting and should have pretty similar temperatures

The last time I shot M51 was with a full frame camera untracked at 200mm so I wanted to try your data. Defo had to remove noise like 15 times haha. It was fun, thanks for sharing!
