Im pretty sure you can get siril on a chrome book
Which can stack and process photos and basically do every thing you need

I've tried installing software, I think it's to do with the operating system not recognizing .exe files (what i heard from someone)

I got photo editors, which are not the best for processing, But I just cant find any stacking software, it would need to be web based

yeah chromebooks do not run .exe files, only windows machines will.
