composite moon photos are like this they are moon photos that are usually less then 100% illuminated but are made so the dark side is also visible

How to get composite moon i never get the scale matching. I have a point and shoot semi automatic camera of Nikon (b700) . Soo I always click at 800mm both half and fullmoon. But during editing the scale never matches what should I do for referance this is the image I get if I try to dial it
