i need help with orion and flame nebula noise
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjii0pd7yj4vfhi/orionandflame.tif?dl=0 this is the file
this is the stacked before process image https://www.dropbox.com/s/4hsfl6ck8wpok4n/Autosave.tif?dl=0

Is this from a Canon?
yes
The dreaded Canon Banding™
I can spot it from miles away
Unfortunately it's hard to get rid of that but there IS a script in Pixinsight called Canon Banding Reduction that works quite well all things considered
can you try it out for me, because it says i dont have the right version, maybe since i got the free trial
I unfortunately don't have my Canon t3i anymore sorry
Oh you mean try it out on your data?
yea
Upload the data I can give it a shot
it says the file size is too big to upload and that i would have to pay, thats why i put it in the dropbox above
the first with the load of noise is the processed and the dark one with barely any nebula in it is just stacked without process
Ok perfect hold on
Check it out..
is there any way of preventing the banding?
That's honestly the only thing I've ever seen work for canon banding
Unfortunately not that I know of
alright ill do some research
Astronomy Tools Actions Set for photoshop has tools for vertical and horizontal banding reduction but it doesn't work as well as this
i looked and saw that darks a bias solves it, so maybe it was my darks as i only took 4 because my dslr was dying. Im going out tonight, so ill see
Oh, I assumed you had done all calibration frames sorry
