#Skywatcher evostar 72ED or Takahashi FS-60CB?
24 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I haven't used either of them but I think the tak is way better
I have the 72ed, its great. But I think the tak would be way better if you can afford it
Takahashi is better but much much more expensive
The 72ED is 450£ + 290£ (field flattener) = 740£ - the takahashi is 749£ so for me there isn‘t much of a difference
tak needs a ff also...
How much would that cost?
either one of those 2
so you see it becomes a 1000p scope instead of the 740 ...
and also thats just the ota for 749, you need 200 more for the rings
Buy an ASKAR 300 for that price , it has everything + cheaper

I see, wouldn‘t I also need a field flattener for that?
no
thats a petzval quintuplet
no extra cost and you have perfect optics corner to corner with optimized backfocus distance with any camera
if i was buying any 200-400mm scope i would buy that with no thinking
Wow, this sounds a bit to perfect for that price…
you can take my advice or choose or your own it doesnt matter to me , but i know my personal choice and thats my choice
