#Full Spectrum or Halpha-Mod?

I am pretty sure Astro mod is just an H-alpha mod
I am wondering if there is any more benefits in getting a full spectrum mod for DSOs, compared to a h-alpha mod
Full Spectrum or Halpha-Mod?
Youtube has a video
As full spectrum you mean removing the filter and not replacing it with a more tame one?
Full spectrum is when you remove everything and have a naked sensor
Every video I have watched so far hasn’t really helped me understand it yet. I think I would be better if I can ask specific questions that I don’t understand instead of watching a video that doesn’t explain my questions
what I know is that you want that uv/ir cut filter because uv light focuses at a different point, so if you don't have it you end up with bloated stars
with dedicated color astro cams it's almost always used, unless you have something like the l-extreme that filters it on it's own
Honestly I feel like h-alpha is the way to go. Every time I bring up full spectrum, somebody has something bad to say about it
well as I said, not even dedicated cams use a certain part of the uv/ir spectrum. Astro mod seems the way to go
