That is a lovely scope - probably a little out of my price range for my first AP gear!

but it could be your first and last astrophotography scope!! (at least that's what I told myself when I bought it... and it was very nearly true)

Unfortunately that's about my budget for a whole setup - just getting back into any astro stuff after many years away (and 2 country moves)

ahhh right, not the one for you then / not the right time for you anyway. I could potentially throw in a celestron AVX mount, but you'd still need a main camera, probably a guide scope and camera, and something to drive it all.
