no, buy the remote
its literally 20-30$
what is your other gear ?
lens ?
the ones i use for astrophotography are 10-22mm with f/3.5
then you dont even shoot longer than 30sec because of 500 rule
so why do you need to get the remote ?
500rule is not to get trailing
what if i want trailing
dude i wont hold my finger on my camera button for 6hrs
ahahhaah
i already said that my camera can take it up max to 30s
i dont have that
hmm, buy the inter...

@weak belfry or DIY option , tape your finger to the shutter button
Or tape the shutter button

i cant just let that slide...
i need an extra second
just buy the intervelometer

The cheapest one is probably the skywatcher star adventurer
But i do know one from omegon wich is like 190€ but it's not electric
I have no idea how good it is but it's the cheapest https://www.omegon.eu/camera-mounts/omegon-mount-minitrack-lx3/p,62043
60 minutes of mechanical tracking
The MiniTrack has a clockwork heart, electronics have no place. A precision movement accurately tracks your camera. Wind-up the MiniTrack with its cord, like an analogue clock, and it will start tracking immediately and continue for 60 minutes. This mount will never flag, even in freezing conditions. Your new mount can even take a telephoto lens. It is no coincidence that this 'expert' in wide-field photography has won the hearts of amateur astronomers.
