ill try that
i have no idea how to edit 32 bit images... photoshop doesnt like it xD
well ok i dont like it xD
its good data! i edited in 16bit mode. i have some biiiiiig black halos around the stars because i tried to reduce them lol
looks nice, haven’t had time to give it a try but i will when i get home from school
thanks! this is my second image i’ve ever done so it means a lot
if you would, could you tel me how to get the true colors out of the image?
im not a big fan of editing m33 tbh but yeah...
i have no idea xD
i just stretched and stretched and put the little S curve in the histogram
i also played a little with the saturations.
oh alright
how experienced are you with processing?
meh
i used to play around with it before i actually had my setup
so i do know how to do the basics
okok
got this the night before last night
it’s uploading
school work
siri
wifi
the only thing that id say is not basic is the star reduction...
but as long as you can stretch and know how to use the histogram curves youre alr
oh thats also a nice one. Mind sharing the data maybe?
the data for that was awful, not flats darks or biases and just 15minutes of exposure
this looks fun to edit
looks a bit noisey. but theres some data in it.
What bortle did you shoot them?
i’ll have to get you the data when i get home. i don’t have access on my phone
lucky enough to live in bortle 2
oh yeah right dw.
thats really cool!!! paradise xD
it really is
you can see in the pictures that you live in a dark sky. so much nebulosity/colors with that "short" exposure time is impressive imo
yeah, could see dust lanes in andromeda at f 5.6 iso 3200 and 30 second exposures
rip
its not the worst but bortle 2 is wayyyy better xD
i was in denmark bortle 1/2 for a week last month... it was like a dream xD
yeah!!!
sadly it was sooooo windy and my setup didnt quiet work...
yeah dw no stress!! looking forward to it
@prime panther
have fun
i want to see how much better you can get it than i can
what I was able to do with the M33 data ^
yours
i think your edit definitely takes the cake
That looks good!! You kept the rgb Stars which I like!! I desaturated them I my pic because their abberation got out of Hand xD
Ill try the andromeda pic later when I get home!!!
thanks man! just got about 2 hours of m101 so i’ll share that data too if you want to have a go at it as well
oh yeah sure!!!
mind sending your tif? my wifi is way to slow to download all the raw files.
sure, let me just get out of bed first lmao
xD nw
almost done with the m101 master file, but ill have to try and recreate the andromeda master file because i deleted it on accident
m101
this one has gradient more gradient, must have been lights from the house.
what i got out of the m101 data
just a redo of the andromeda data that i did trying to learn some new stuff for processing.
heres the andromeda data aswell. this isn't the same as the first andromeda data i had for some reason, but in my opinion it was more fun to play with
Thanks! Ill try sunday... iam currently not home and dont have my PC with me
sounds good
now ill try it
i really dont know how to edit galaxies xD
ill try to remove the gradient tomorrow. im super tired xD
im abe honest... i just stretched this image and played a bit with the curves
wow
So i tried M101 also a good way of getting rid of Chromatic ab is by using the Colour saturation in siril and changing the Cyan-blue-magenta then putting it somewhere like -70 or wherever looks best and make sure backround is at 0.00 so then it works or 1.00 i cant remember
Really good data i think if i spent more time on it i couldve got more detail/colour out of it
Maybe creating a star mask on PS and doing selective color adjustments could be an option too
True but i dont have PS as a option so i dont know the right settings on there
Oh I see
Things on PixInSight can get rid of CA aswell but again dont have that soo
