i'm getting these weird lines in the stacked image from dss

yes, im pretty sure dss is using the wrong stars in some of the frames
if i use only 200 frames it doesn't happen

Ok its possible as it happens in my stacking that when it moves across view it gets confused with stars it did it for me with M27 M82 and a few others but it just seems like stacking errors but again thats just my guess

yeah, i think that’s what it is too
it’s getting confused between a few stars because the lines are stars

yeah seems most likely to me but im not to familiar with DSS properly yet as its my first year of astro but i think that helped me was somehow either intersection mode or less star detection

when I ran out of storage the stacks kept corrupting
and giving me the same effect
