Guy enters without any refractor in his possession
imposter 😛
What do you guys think of the AT72EDII
I have one. Great scope for the price point
Some folks don’t like Astro tech stuff cuz they tend to use lower grade glass but they’re very well corrected and I freaking love mine. Took my profile pic with that scope
Yeah I know it has fpl53 glass I heard that’s pretty good also is there any chromatic aberration?
Not that I’ve seen. If there is it’s extremely minimal
For the price you will not find a better 71mm
I think I will go with that then
Are you using a flattener and which one?
Yes I am. I’m using the ATRF72 that’s for the scope
Ok I have heard some things about issues with the flattener how does it work with you? Also do you think the reducer flattener would be worth it?
That’s what this is. It’s the 0.8x reducer and field flattener
Mine works fine with the proper backfocus
camera lens counts as refractor....?
The pic i got of Orion Nebula using 5 inch refractor and iPhone 11 adapted
Single sub looking pretty good
