What does "Show Errors" show?
ahh sorry , ive added them to the post
That's really all it shows?
Can you try running that exact command manually?
can i share the screen in meeting?
Execute this C:\msys64\ucrt64\bin\gcc.exe -fdiagnostics-color=always -g "C:\Users\User\Desktop\New folder (2)\a.c" -o "C:\Users\User\Desktop\New folder (2)\a.exe" on the command line and share the error message.
Honestly, that would be too much of a commitment at this point.
it says Entry point not found.
okay
Just to be sure, what does this say?
where gcc
this right ? C:\msys64\ucrt64\bin
My hypothesis is that one of GCC's subprograms is failing to start.
Does gcc a.c work?
Nah thats the problem. no new .exe is created. My university was showing on codeblocks. and codeblocks work. i just wanted to run in vs code....
It's a bad idea to use a folder with spaces and special characters.
ill go back to codeblocks whatever . thank you for trying to fix up my thing
Welp.
