i am watching a lets play of resident evil 8 and my god im cringing so bad at how they tried to use romanian words into the story

you have a backwater randomass village in the middle of nowhere yet somehow all the villagers speak perfect english with an american accent

none of the romanian words are pronounced right (at least from what i heard so far) , and it's not even the hoyo type of americanization where they're just slightly off to make up for the difference in accent, their pronounciation is completely off the mark, it sounds closer to french if anything

and their choice of terminology is really unispired , a lot of it is just taking the generic english term for the object and just using the romanian translation , ig it's supposed to sound cool if you dont know the language ?

then theres more minor stuff like using romanian currency but the prices being nowhere near close, like you can just buy a gun for 200 lei ( around 50 usd)

This is actually one of the reasons I’d prefer Genshin’s pull animations in some ways over Star rail’s

HSR’s easily has a cooler and more dynamic cinematic, but your eyes need to be ruined to spot when you’re about to get a good pull lol.

Genshin’s is much simpler but there’s more of an element of spontaneity when you win big

So... A lot of people are saying the reason why version 1.1 Wuthering Waves has been moved from July 4th to June 28th has to do with Zenless Zone Zero launch on July 4th, which previously would of meant that WuWa 1.1 update and ZZZ launch would have competed for attention.

In fact people in cn demand to shift the second banner and content forward because they're more interested in Yinlin (they want to have the first limited female character to play earlier) and I think this affects the 1.1 update.
