first: for all characters that burst every rotation, focus on their ER before any other stat including crit rate. It means you will need to keep more leveled artifacts around.

thirdly, go to youtube less, or try to use youtubers that are not clickbaity and go into the detail numbers of how to build a character, or use resources like kqm guides or wfp guides. chasing crit damage at the expense of balance builds means you will likely have a bad time in abyss because you RARELY get a high damage number even tho the number is high. Balance build doesn't just mean crit rate and crit damage. Different characters need different distribution of stats. For example for vast range of investment level hp% is as good as crit for neuv and yelan. Therefore, when you are rebuilding your artifact library, simply hoard pieces more

just hoard all pieces that have stats that are relevant to the character you're building, cv on a piece only needs to be 20~30 for it to be good if it has ER (for ER needing characters) or 1 or 2 of a character's relevant scaling stats
