there's a lot of things to consider if using obsolete devices (a.k.a Haswell and earlier 64-bit CPUs, even AMD)
the value of them is not high (except workstation laptops) so the hardware solution should consider them too, to find the most suitable pieces
agree
yep. End of discussion

minor issue with palworld
friend's rx 5700 (xt i think i forgor) is hitting 110c T junction and it's completely shutting down his pc
doesnt happen in other games
just palworld
if anyone has anything feel free to give an answer
did some research
lots of people
face the same issue
like here
prolly overheating
no crashes but lots of frame drops
i increased his fan curve and undervolted the gpu by like 200mv
also capped the fps to 60
seemed to fix it

@south ivy @west stirrup what do you think about Alder Lake-N?
i've only been paying attention to the new ryzen APUs
dont know enough about alder lake
basically I just got a Surface Go 4
it's N200
I didn't access any kind of alder lake-n before except the common N100
thas dual core right?
surely
it performs somewhat with those alder lake cores
decent
quad-core
same performance as i5-7400
but graphics is unknown to me at least in Linux
celeron and pentium is merged in laptop CPUs
Oh I see
yo
im trying to stream my screen to discord voice channel and my audience said its trash
but when i try to stream it to youtube its just smooth
anyone knows why
i tried the shenanigans that google search offered but none of it worked
Region probs
It happens often when you're in a voice chat that was created in like a different region from yours
Or ur audience is just in a different region
tech discussion still exists

what can handle this?
unless you stack a bunch of 4090s for Crysis only
They accidentally found a 5090 from Nvidia's trash can
Haven't watched the video yet but probably dlss

From 8k to 32k idk
upscaling is really useful here
since there are so much detail, it will actually look as nvidia said "better than native"
ok, its not exactly a 2000" display but rather 3 light projectors aligned
