The hints were there, sure, particularly with what Welt mentioned ahead of time regarding Sam. Sam's 'motions' retroactively line up with what new info/context they've added in 2.1.
However, a lot of these hints were still overall minute, with how much the story also ||cleverly misdirected it as if they were two seperate people but had some sort of 'relationship' we didn't know about yet.||
There wasn't as as much clearly sound evidence to strongly affirm that ||Sam=Firefly|| even with the trailers footage showing them. White Night doesn't directly connect ||the two as the same person.|| At any time.
The most that we could say for sure about ||Firefly is that she was obviously returning/survived in some fashion exactly cuz she's used in a number of unused footage in White Night. Same with Sam.||

- why are they slandering welt , he literally just had a badass moment in the story after idk how many chapters
- all gacha games will have a focus on people asking for meta builds and such, it's the outcome of making a game that caters towards casual players while also being extremely scarce with its resources
average casual player wont want to spend the time theory crafting for themselves and they can't afford the resources to just test out everything in game either
