I try to farm Physical, my 4p Qua is more efficient. I try to farm Fire Set, it's shit. I try to farm Wind, Lightning, they both can be covered by just 4p Qua instead.
It grabs me by the throat. I farm for it. I salvage. I give it Self-Modelling resin. It isn't satisfied. I craft a piece, "I don't need this much def" it tells me. "Give me more farm time." It grabs my friend supports and forces them to throw themselves on calyxes. "You just need to farm me more. I can deal more damage with quantum weak."

it could be part of superconduct or something, like a x% of the physical dmg applied is applied as a defense ignoring dot over the next 5 seconds or something

Ratio has more value as a potential annual freebie precedent compared to the likes of say
Potentially Neuvillette being given away for free in Genshin
Genshin’s focus isn’t primarily on making more high end challenging combat content like HSR is rn
So a free Ratio was a bold yet good call for more retention imo
Even moreso when you consider the rate of new characters coming out in HSR in the past several months

Sure. A good chunk boils down to how much the player willing to commit to clear said content and how far they want to clear it. Higher end units are ultimately gonna be there to help sell that comfort. I doubt players won’t be able to eventually fully clear with a 4* team, but that’ll take a while without the right amount of Eidolons and gearing. Call me a skeptic, but I doubt Hoyo was ‘just’ trying to be generous for the sake of it on Ratio. This would’ve been reasonably been planned out ahead of time with this in mind. Color me unsurprised when they do this again for another limited in 2.6 or sth.

I am on the camp that won't oppose it, I feel most of the missions or events are just fetch quests and/or chores to do, so having more "just get there and beat enemies" kind of events more often would be an upgrade, and making them into weekly events would be a good way to earn some extra Primogems
I also don't know how we haven't gotten a game mode where we can beat some bosses in co-op with friends yet, this game has co-op but barely anything to do with people, a special Abyss to beat with others would be nice
