I just wanted to know like what you wanted to achieve with these characters

I wanted a team for abyss, a team for overworld stuff (dailies, etc.) and was wondering if there are any characters worth pulling for to make a team with them. Stuff like that. I don't really have a definitive answer for that question, but the hopefully the points above summarize some general ideas pretty well XD

Nahida is also interesting but I was told to not pull for her because I have no characters to build her with.

Well it's kinda true that you're a little lacking in characters, but Nahida is flexible enough a character that you can afford to pull her with minimal characters really

If you head over to #・ghelp-bot-spam and type that into chat, it'll show you all the different possibilities that you can run with her, although if you're not sure about it, I think that pulling for Raiden is definitely the more noticeable powerspike for less effort

Raiden is an extremely comfortable character to play because of a few factors - mainly her energy generation. In order to cast elemental bursts, all characters in this game require enough energy to use their most powerful abilities, with very few exceptions. What Raiden's main selling point is that she's not only a fantastic battery (someone who generates large amounts of energy quickly for other characters), she also has super armor (extremely high poise, not easily interrupted) during her burst while dishing out tons of damage as well

Furthermore, you already have one of her best teams (Bennett Xiangling Xingqiu), so she'd be a great addition to your team early on as you learn more and more about character mechanics and what not

#

As for a second team, I don't see a very clear-cut answer right now sadly, but some characters I can recommend raising are Fischl and Beidou, Fischl especially. Even without high constellations, they do a great job of clear most, if not all, content, and will likely be key figures to a lot of teams going forward.

For overworld usage, practically anything works

But if you really wanna start gearing for the meta teams, you could start running something like Bennett Xiangling Xingqiu Jean/Fischl

#

You might be worried about the lack of a Healer, but Bennett himself provides plenty so long as you don't facetank absolutely everything

You know the red circle he leaves on the ground after he uses his Q?

That circle not only buffs the active character within it, it also heals the character over time

He has a lot more utility though, providing an attack buff on top of being a really good battery for Xiangling

Jean is basically if you need more healing, and eventually, she'll transition into a 4 Viridescent Venerer holder too, although by that time, you might have another Anemo character like Sucrose or Kazuha who would fulfil that role more effectively

As for Fischl, she has good off-field DPS and is a decent battery, even for characters that aren't of her element. She's a good character in almost every team

#

So for now, it's really between more comfort from Jean or more damage from Fischl

#

Like I said though, Fischl's a fantastic character. You want to raise her sooner or later

That being said, if you're pre-AR45, please don't farm any artifacts. You generally only want to farm artifacts after hitting AR45.

Prior to that point, work on your character ascensions, talent levels and weapon levels

Xingqiu's the one that you mainly have to worry about, seeing how Sac and Fav are wished weapons

Bennett can easily use the Sapwood Blade (Inazuma Craftable) and Xiangling can use the Catch (Fishing weapon)

As for Xingqiu, until you get either Sacrificial or Favonius, you're going to have to stick w Skyrider Sword

I generally wouldn't recommend wishing on weapon banner if you're a f2p / low spender

You should get enough just by generally wishing on the character banner to fill up your roster

With a few here and there from Standard Banner whenever you get the blue fates

Oh also, in your case, there are a few 3-star weapons in particular that you really wanna save -

  1. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer (TTDS). Have 2 copies of said weapon at R5.
  2. Magic Guide R5. Could be useful for Nahida in the future if you don't have anything else for her.
  3. Skyrider Sword R5. Cope, but it's your best option for Xingqiu right now without a 5 star sword / Sacrificial / Favonius
  4. Black Tassel R5. A statstick that gives your character a ton of HP. Useful for polearm shielders like Zhongli & Thoma
  5. White Tassel R5 (from Liyue Exploration). Another statstick, but it's useful for certain characters like Cyno and Hu Tao who appreciate the crit
  6. Harbinger of Dawn R5. A crit statstick that will be used until you have something better

TLDR; save the weapons above, save primos for Raiden, build Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu & Jean/Fischl for current team, then swap to Raiden when/if I get her, upgrade talents/ascend characters before AR45, then start farming Domains for artifacts once I hit AR45
