but if you had kokomi there for the comfort of a healer, columbina doesn't fill that role

you can give her prototype amber, its a good f2p option for her, but its still only 18% hp of healing per rotation

self bloom damage alone will grind you down in long fights like abyss

in such a situation, i'd probably swap kokomi with bina, and replace nahida with kirara/baizou. to both retain the sustain role, while fitting in bina to the team. but the team you have right now is plenty

bina shines more in teams when the carry itself is dealing lunar damage: nefer flins zibai. And work well with ineffa as a pair.
in nilou teams, bina brings her personal off field damage, and her on field charge attacks. its better on paper but requires some sacrifices in the team building which in some accounts make the swap not a big leap

alice is rumored to possibly not be coming out yet in 6.x due to not getting a playable id number like nicole has, so theres more of a chance for him to have synergy with nicole in my opinion. nicole will most likely have very solid hex choices outside of him however, even if he is a good slot for her (sucrose, mona, fischl etc.) and same goes for alice.

basically, even if he ends up being good for them it most likely won’t be as detrimental as having skirk without escoffier, flins without ineffa etc.

she does nothing because lunar bloom is just normal bloom and cannot be buffed. only direct lunar bloom damage can get buff, which is not a reaction damage, its just lauma hold E, and bina's kit that can get buffed

ineffa's banner is likely to be the 2nd half of 6.3, while bina is 1st, maybe you'll be able to afford both with enough luck

Not having ascent gleam on c0 just reduces your E AoE range.
But in reality, not having another NK unit in the team makes her a support that supports nobody, and no non-NK unit can properly support her either.
There's not really any viable team with bina as the only NK unit beyond using her to brute force through bosses with lunar mechanics.

you should only go for bina's banner if you plan to get another NK 5 star this year. Otherwise it's hard to recommend.

Her shield is decent, and off field damage is good. Its just that her + bina or her + flins is so strong that it kinda feels silly with neither of them.

like how you can use escoffier outside of freeze thanks to her personal damage, application, and healing, and it will work, but god does she slap when she's in her own niche

I'm a little shocked. My best results for on-field Columbina are coming from Columbina/Lauma/C2Nahida/Ineffa. It absolutely dumpsters Durin cullinary teams and anything with Aino. Not at all what I was expecting... particularly with Ineffa completely neutered into a catalyze bot with a shield. The gap should close slightly when Columbina hits lvl 90 talent level 10 because her non-quill damage ratio will go up.

The quills skyrocket any form of lunar dmg to the point where the dmg with and without is extremely noticeable

That's why both nefer and bina onfield rlly want lauma

Columbina only has hp scaling on her special lunar bloom charge attack so u can't rlly onfield using her regular normal attacks unless ur using her as a driver but at that point better use another dps W bina off field

lunar crystalize isn't really all that better than the alternatives. and in that itto team, bina and ineffa deal more damage than itto, to the point that gorou can be swapped out for sucrose
venti's only benefit is grouping here btw, neither of them wants dmg%.
tl;dr there isn't any non zibai team where lunar crystalize makes a major difference to already existing teams, or it just ends up being a lunar charge team with geo on the side.

meanwhile Nefer lauma ineffa bina = 143k

idk what your team's like and how invested your supports are, but this is the kind of damage increase lauma gives both nefer and bina combined

personal damage increase for nefer alone goes from 1,249,260 to 1,660,895 going from nahida to lauma

bina almost doubles in personal damage from 234,241 to 510,358

Beacon would be the best as long as you can build his artifact set without overcapping CR, he can fairly consistently have both stacks active. You can also make a case for WGS in his non pyro teams, but non pyro teams are not great...

his base CR is 5 + 30 (4p set) + 33.1 (wep) = 68.1% CR baseline on beacon. so you are capped at 32~ cr from subs, not too restrictive now that i look at it

durin c2 is strong and a more universal support than just his base and c1 offer. i do have lauma c2 but no nefer so i can’t really speak on her sustain issues, but imo i wouldn’t get it unless you’re gonna go for c2 lauma which is a nice increase.

celestial gift works but if you’re running nicole she will run it instead, i’d still go for noblesse over this since durin benefits from noblesse 2pc and doesnt really need the ER% from this 2pc
