The item used to reach the big open area looks kind of like a dice and yelan seems to have a relation to dice and also there was a fatui journal in there
After you fight the ruin serpent yelan saves you by hitting the pillar but how did she know hitting it would do something also how did she know the traveler would be there there was another point I was gonna make but I forgot

the letter she left behind really resonated with me

she talks about how no one pays any mind to those not chosen by the gods and only then i realized that it had a double-meaning: it was referring to the npcs. im sure at the beginning of the quest line a majority of the playerbase found her to be very stubborn and annoying, but it was the lack of recognition we and the other npcs show her that caused her to ultimately leave on her own to forge her own path. im just so sad about it because i really did dismiss her as just another npc at first..... but after reading that letter i just feel so bad for writing her off like that. the point of that letter was basically to show the player that "regular people" aka those not chosen by the gods/visionless npcs have their own hopes and dreams and aspirations all the same.....hats off to mihoyo for getting me so emotionally invested in an npc through great storytelling. i just hope that wherever she is now, shes safe and we'll get to meet her again

to be fair, the whole ordeal with zhiqiong + her letter + her adamant insistence in how Only The Normies Of Teyvat Can Enjoy True Adventure™️ stroke me a lot on controversial ( besides being stubborn and annoying and makes me want to scream GO TO BED, CHILD to her, like, in a good way ?? like pls calm down don't get yourself yeeted ) because of course, they're a visionless person who has the perspective of a visionless of the world of the 'gods' chosen'. they do not know how fairly miserable the life of a person with a vision can be, because of the concept of vision holders being seen as 'superior' being so ingrained in their head that they almost cannot conceive the idea of someone with a vision actually coming and still living in utter misery.

like, on one side i understand where she comes from but on the other i would want her to talk with an actual vision holder so that they can actually witness that hey, the so called 'chosen ones' are actually not so daijobu.

She was once commissioned to map out Qiaoying Village so I just thought MAYBE with her friendly and outgoing nature, she got close to some of its citizens, they never said it was a desolate village after all. MAYBE Zhiqiong mentioned her dream, any plans on how to pursue, and have any ideas on what she would do, adventuring alone, in the dephts of the Chasm.

Just an idea, maybe I'm overthinking a bit. Storyline's so great, can't help thinking beyond the box. At least I wanna know that she's capable to take that path and survive, that's all.

I have some friends who are more casual players, one of whom is just starting the irodori event and one who hasn't touched it. anyways my friend who started irodori today, she was trying to do the flower arranging mini-game (floral courtyard) and after doing one arrangement was told to come back tomorrow. since all the mini-games should be unlocked by now, my friend advanced her clock in game expecting to be able to continue. however, it didn't work. Is the floral courtyard section time-gated over four real-world days even if people start irodori late? asking because if it is I need to tell the friend who hasn't touched it so he doesn't run out of time

Eh, personally I think it's mostly about Khaenriah

Especially after the recent revelation that normal Khaenriahns were cursed with immortality and Dain suffers daily, which align with the detail in the 7th volume

And there are like 3 Khaenriahns match the description of 3 of the pygmies as well

The deformed pygmy embarked on a journey after committing a grave sin and failing to protect his people, which led to them being cursed in a state that is neither dead nor alive.

The foolish pygmy, with "fools" being "Fatui" in Latin (in CN, they used the same letter "fool" with "Fatui" to describe the pygmy), seems to be Pierro as he's assumed to hail from Khaenriah, too.

The shrunken pygmy, who's obsessed with her garden (a place where lives are grown), which correlate with Rhinedottir. Especially with the "gardener metaphor" Albedo talked about in 2.3, and how Khemia creates life. There's also mentioned of "shrunken drawing on discarded sheets of paper" in Riftborn Regalia description. This with Albedo's hobby of sketching further support "Shrunken pygmy = Rhinedottir"

Still, I won't deny that the theory linking Tsaritsa and Pale Princess does exist and this one does indeed use the analyses of the remaining entries of the books

It's not a bad one, but seeing how the pygmies are more closely tied with some Khaenriahns we know compare to the Archons as Blue Hat Cat or the other theory propose, it's better to focus more on the "Pale Princess ties to Khaenriahn history" path
