So the backstory is that the Rumelian tribe are essentially in a big refugee camp in the desert because of a war with the Deskunte tribe who conquered their lands
The chief of Rumelians, Dura wants to build a canal to facilitate trade and commerce and it actually works
Dura also adopts Maru and Cross who are twins and very strong for their age
However, a "Kalyan" which the Rumelians worship kills the Deskunte's chief's daughter, causing them to demand all of their territory or else.
Dura challenges them to a duel to settle this but they send Dabura to fight him
Dura and Dabura are actually friends but Dabura is being black mailed because his sister was kidnapped by the chief and being threatened by him so Dabura sadly has to kill Dura in the duel.
Later that night the Rumelians consider whether they should flee or fight when Dabura and his sister arrive and tell them that he wants to protect them for Dura's sake.
They then find a secret stash of essentially a magical metal that Cross and Mari use their CTs to make into a space ship to go into space and find their "neighbors"
