Idk about you guys but Kaeya has had a lot of inconsistencies this time when we met him, and idk if this is a mid game lore change (like the timing of the Archon War in Ganyu’s story compared to… everyone else) or Kaeya lying. For instance, if we are considering that Kaeya was left alone at a place overlooking the Dawn Winery in his character story, the horizon that Kaeya’s father would have looked at (and therefore at the direction of Khaenri’ah) would have been to approx. the north east of Mondstadt, or somewhere around where we suspect the Dark Sea and the Spiral Abyss is. However, Kaeya mentions in the beginning that Khaenri’ah is somewhere near the Sumeru underground, which would’ve been the complete opposite direction. Also, even if we discard the horizon thing, that still leaves the description of Spiral Abyss unidentified if that is not Khaenri’ah. And okay, let’s say the Abyss and the remains of Khaenri’ah are moving, non-stationary places: how do we explain Lumine seeing the remains of Khaenri’ah in a Mondstadt like area in the We Will Be Reunited trailer if Khaenri’ah is supposedly in Sumeru? Then there’s why Kaeya was even in Sumeru to begin with. Like,,, what?? Sure he’s an alcoholic but also he’s the quartermaster of Mondstadt (and currently the half master because of Varka’s disappearance), so there’s no plausible way he was just going out to taste all the liquor in Sumeru and get some spices. Also, what is up with that ungodly alcohol tolerance lmao???

If you notice, the domain in which we enter is just near the path when take when we go from the Chasm to Sumeru, so the 3.5 domain in a weird border between the Chasm : Underground and Sumeru

Clothar isn't Kaeya's father. He only had Caribert as a son. Clothar is Kaeya's ancestor, meaning that before he died, Clothar must have done smth to make it so the Alberich clan survived. Also Kaeya wasn't born 500 years ago, he's the same age as Diluc and that's because he's not from the period of the Cataclysm. His parents were probably part of the people who managed to escape and live after it
