ATLA is a classic, and it makes the animation nerd in me go crazy lol

Korra suffered a bit in the overall story department (outside of two fantastic villains), but its pretty damn great as well

I still go back and watch some of the fights from it from time to time. Their choreography director was fantastic.

Biggest thing I always appreciated was how they went out of their way to make the fights feel more "modern" than ATLA. ATLA had a lot of grand, powerful battles with huge blasts of elements thrown at each other in contests of strength, while Korra's battles were a lot of quick shots and feints trying to get the opponent off-balance, something in line with the more "practical" martial arts of modern day.
