For the little bits I've seen of High Rise I would have to say that slime even with all its issues is an objectively better anime (from a production and overall quality sense). The only redeeming thing I've heard about high rise was sniper mask. Though I guess your right about them being different things, one being isekai and the other being death game(? I think). If you like high rise maybe try Darwin's Game.
