It's kinda hard to describe the feeling you get from it but it just feels, nice most of the time. There's a really good balance between the SoL highschool comedy bits (about 2/3 of the manga) and the crazy action bits. The characters are all super lovable and have their quirks that make them stand out. There's even (slight) character development for the Mineta type character going on right now. There is a slight power fantasy (very minor) with the main character but he's very much not faultless and isn't supposed to self insert and is a well established character. The festival arcs go hard and there's a wide variety of them as well. There's combat festivals, club festivals and even music festivals. The main cast never feels overused (though Clara is probably due for some development soon) and they rotate the side cast in enough that even I, someone who notoriously struggles with side characters, can remember them and be happy when they come. The art is consistently good but I wouldn't say there's anything too crazy to write home about in that department. Overall it's just one of the manga that make you feel good while reading it and has you rooting for the main cast the entire time.

K-On! - Slice of Life (in the "low stakes, day to day life" meaning) about a group of girls getting into music as a makeshift band. Comfy af, well done animation, and loveable characters. A good comfy watch.
Interviews with Monster Girls - Another low-stakes Slice of Life, about some monster girls and a monster teacher just trying their best to fit in and make friends. Shares the wholesome element, but not really romance focused.
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid - Comfy comedy (with romance spread throughout it), with random bits of S-tier animation, but by and large just a comfy wholesome comedy (with some ecchi visual gags like Dress Up Darling's sprinkled throughout it)
