This song kinda gives me the vibe as if Minami was a bit more upbeat with her music. Still really good and conveys the emotion. I think the tone being a bit more upbeat helps with the theme of confusion as she's talking about something depressing but the song itself is rather upbeat for the most part and when the song take a tad bit less peppy tone it's kinda like they're coming to terms with it.

I can totally get being biased over a certain bit of the music like production quality or something else. I even said earlier for a Minami song that I listened to the song way more for the instrumentation then the vocals (though they are good). I'm definitely more of an instrumentation guy (based on my library which consists of over half entirely instrumental songs and one of the remaining quarters are in languages I don't understand) so some of these songs are right up my alley (Nevereverland specifically because I'm a sucker for Symphonic Rock).

I think comedy is very subjective, for example anime like Joshikousei no Mudazukai for me is really funny, I could purely laugh out loud while watching it, plus the localization of the subtitles was adjusted so that was very easy to understand with the humor in my mother tongue, but other people might think that it's just a story about 3 weird high school students.

The further away from shounen you go the better off you'll be with the fanservice department. Unfortunately fanservice is what sells so you'd be very hard pressed to find an anime with none at all. As for the no gender thing I've never heard of any other anime that does that so you may be out of luck on that front.

It also has amazing shots and cinematography in the mix; I could argue this is subjectively peak Kyoto Animation

(Simplest way to sum it up: If Ainz from Overlord got summoned without the guild hall and evil demons whispering evil ideas in his ear, so he had to actually try and get along with humans)

Speaking on the topic of bad (at least currently) manga, I do have to say that even though the premise of the arc for Tokyo Revengers is so so so so so so so so so so so stupid, the author is actually giving Takemitchy (sorta decent) character development which makes me think that it was atleast slightly planned instead of tacked on to cover plot holes (which it fails at by creating more).
I will continue to say that this current arc is stupid though because the plot could've ended perfectly fine with the last arc and not destroyed the story like this arc has.

Yea AO is really hard to understand without having seen all the other E7 stuff including the movie. But ||Time travel and Multiverse combined|| does make for quite the brain twister even with the background knowledge.

I think that on it's own AO tells a good enough story it just falters when you try to fit it into the actual E7 universe. The AO movie (which is basically just a final episode) helps actually conclude the series and give it a good enough ending imo.
And I personally think it's fine that it falters when trying to connect it to the actual E7 universe because ||it's a multiverse with time travel and a gun that can change the universe|| so things not lining up perfectly makes sense. The only complaint with this is how it murders some characters' (Renton's) development from the original E7.
