Hm, some favorites Manwhas of mine:
Afterschool War Activities (Completed): Half "retrospective interview documentary", half psychological drama about a school of Korean youth drafted into the army after an alien invasion.
- Something About Us (Completed): Really well done realistic (no stupid misunderstandings that make 0 sense) romance drama with pretty well written characters.
- The Abandoned Empress: Basically a court drama/historical drama, where a woman heir to the throne is assassinated, only to wake up 10 years prior to the murder.
- The Beginning After the End (Ongoing): Basically Mushoku Tensei ("serious" isekai about a dude given another chance at life, that follows them from birth to death), but the MC that reincarnates isnt a horny creepy dude. Actually almost no fan service here, just well drawn art and a really unique story and strong worldbuilding.
- Skeleton Soldier that Couldnt Protect the Dungeon (Ongoing): Basically "Day After Tomorrow" meets "skeleton soldier". Skeleton loyal to his queen wakes up on the day of his summoning (he couldnt save his original summoner his first life), and finds each time he dies, he keeps getting sent back to that moment with his previous stats. So he begins learning, training and doing more to be able to protect her and learn why he gained this power. Really dark at times tbh.

Mechanical engineer gets isekaid into the body of a prince in a country in civil war, that also hunts down humans with physics defying magical powers called Witches. As an engineer, he realizes the wasted potential of these Witches, and decides he will rescue them and use them to bring the kingdom into the modern age.
Some really welldone worldbuilding, and the art + characters are really unique too. Basically Dr Stone meets "Hero Rebuilds the Kingdom"

Personally, outside of one or two bits (the training arc and the attack on the capitol), I felt it was kind of disjointed/didnt really feel that cohesive 😅 Was really hard to tell where tf it was going with the wider story (outside of "Tanya keeps accidentally succeeding").

I was having a hard time not closing off the video when they started explaining the plot around 2:30 mark due to how they went around it, but overall it was a really good animation. Surprisingly decently written as well, it is definitely taking great inspirations from Trigger in the best possible ways.

Pluto: Takes place in the world of Astro Boy, but completely different tone. Basically, a futuristic society where AI and humans coexist, a mysterious entity is hunting down AI war heroes of the last world war, and the main character, Pluto, is tasked with hunting down who is behind these robot murders. S+ tier story, and pretty great artwork too (tho this part is admittingly a little dated)
Something About Us: Full color romance with none of the stupid tropes of the genre. Characters all have agency, they fucking talk about whats bothering them, and have meaningful growth. Very good romance series.
ReLIFE: S+ tier story, full color as well. A great story about second shots at life, and an even better story of self-redemption and self-improvement. One of my all-time favorites.
Afterschool War Activities: Fullmetal Jacket meets sci-fi invasion. Follows a group of high schoolers forcefully recruited into the army after an alien race invades Korea. Gritty, dark, but really well done.
Sachi's Monstrous Appetite: Dude's crushin on a girl. Girl turns out to be a living, breathing Eldritch horror. Dude doesn't care. Love, mystery, and surprisingly well done Eldritch art with a pretty decent romance story on top.
