As for story I think it's solid too.
I liked his mentality from the present applying to the current timeline in some instances

Music's pretty good too, though it suffers from the "overplayed/overused by fans, so it sounds worse through no fault of its own" issue

Like, the ||dream/red string of fate|| scene is easily one of the top ten most beautiful animations I've seen. I love everything about it.

Eromanga Sensei's overarching plot involves the creation of an anime as a goal for the character 👀 (tho I dont believe the anime gets to the actual "production" bits, that's in the manga. Just the process of getting selected for an adaption is whats adapted anime-wise)
Re:Creators has a bit of anime production stuff as its sideplot for the final arc.
Bakuman is about a manga artist making a manga, which is kind of close. (It's by the author of Death Note, and loosely is based on their story of getting Death Note adapted)

Former revolves around otaku/hikikomori culture, the other is a harem that’s heavy ecchi first season and more romance/drama afterwards

There really isn't a lot of behind the scenes animes out there that focus on production. I've seen like so many manga creator and Seiyuu animes but really only Shirobako for anime production (as an anime)

And Takumi I don’t give 10s and even 9s easily but NHK ni Youkoso is one of the easiest 9s I gave in a solid minute

Idk how to quote stuff but there's this source online saying that s3 will be aired in Summer of 2022. Not sure if it's reliable so just cross your fingers

I mean I'd say it's more popular nowadays especially since just regular magical girls is becoming more and more generic.
Mahou Shoujo Site, Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku, and Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka are the three recs I have. I can't guarantee you'll like them as much as Madoka, but they're definitely all a unique take on the genre and pretty dark imo.

I honestly didn't know lol. I try not to converse with any MHA fans or just talk about MHA in general. I don't like the series at all.

Welp I started it tho so I might as well finish. At least it has some decent audio production and fight scenes.

I get that. My conscience tells me it's wrong when I think about dropping an anime. I think I just have a higher tolerance to stick through with dumb stuff so I won't get to the point where I'll hate all anime because of a few shows.

I just carefully go about choosing what to watch. I think the only animes I have dropped were the super long commitment ones I just couldn't stand like Naruto and Bleach.

Well, if you dropped it at Season 2 of all seasons, cant exactly say you'll find much to enjoy in the rest of them 😅

Season 2 was the only season that really stood out to me of them. Watched til Season 5, might watch an episode or two now but definitely not following it actively anymore

Its 19 minutes of flashback for 1 minute of S tier animation (and that minute has been getting smaller and smaller as the seasons progress)
